Howdy, come on in, kick off your boots and sit a spell...

This is a Crazy Quilt that is from an online swap. If you look close you can see that it is made of large squares. Each of us in the swap made 20 blocks and mailed them off to the hostess.  She exchanged them with all the others, and I got blocks of many different colors.  There are a couple of the ones I did that are repeated but it is hard to find them.... I think for my 2002 rides these will be the quilts I will use most since I have so many pieces to use up...

This is Alex and me and the quilt I made for his 5th birthday.  It was made from a confetti swap of children's fabric.  There is no way I would have had this many different kid prints.

This quilt is one of my favorite ones.  It was made with an internet swap group and we all made 12 or 24 star blocks, then traded them.   It is a wonderful way to learn different star patterns.  All I had to do was make two different patterns.  And yes there is a mistake in this quilt.  One of the blocks I made had an error. I set it aside to not use it, and somehow it got in this quilt....Can you find it?  If you do you will know which is my block.. I also did the red and white block on the top right corner.    This quilt lives in Iowa with a friend who works with Viet Nam Vets.

This is a confetti quilt done with Black contrast.  I have also made confetti's that are with White on White (WOW) and Cream on Cream (COC). This quilt lives with Cheryl in Mt. Orab, Ohio.  During 1998 this was the quilt I made the most. The  Cream on Cream confetti lives in Mt. Orab also and the white on white confetti lives in Tennessee.

This is one of my favorite patterns.  It is called the Lone Star and  the green and blue quilt now lives in Iowa.  It went to Jennifer, the school teacher who has ridden with me in Tennessee, and Washington. The orange, black and aqua quilt went to Charlie, a cowboy from Washington I rode with in 1999.

The blue and salmon quilt lives in Oregon with Carol at the Quarter Moon Ranch.  The Navy and white one lives with Marian in Washington. Both Quilts are the Log cabin but the pattern changes when you rotate the squares a different way.
